Trailer - Who I See

 

I made this trailer for my video game over the course of 3 days.

Honestly, the subject matter is not well-suited for a trailer; a lot of text, no voiceovers, and most unfortunately, little motion. But I love a challenge, and I overcame it through using careful pacing and cutting to instill the feeling of motion. I set up the trailer as its own story, with a hook, build-up, and climax, so as to compel the viewer to keep watching. With no voiceovers, I used editing to especially sync the visuals with the gradually distorting audio to deliver the tone and feel of the game without using exposition to mandate what the viewer should be feeling. When met with difficulties in video editing, I love figuring out ways to overcome them.
